"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation" I Peter 1:15 February 7, 2012

WHAT TO EXPECT THE FIRST TIME YOU COME

There are a lot of “churches” out there but they don’t all look the same. Our goal in all that we do as a church is to please Christ first. As a result, every Sunday is an opportunity for an inspiring time of worship. If you’re like most people, you may have questions as to what a service at Jefferson Road might look like. So we took some time to answer them.

What are the services like?
Every service at Jefferson Road fw Baptist Church is planned so that you will have a great worship experience. Each service is filled with meaningful worship and Bible preaching. As a guest, it is our honor to serve you. If there is anything you need, you can let a nearby usher know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We believe  you will find Jefferson Road to be a very friendly church.

What about the music?
We think it’s very inspiring! In any given service you will hear a blend of timeless, truth filled hymns as well as some choruses that exalt Christ. We think you will enjoy hearing our choir, and other special groups and
soloists.

Are there classes for my children?
We have an fun filled Children's Church and a Junior church where the children can worship the Lord, too! Each child is challenged at their level with the truth of scripture. We also offer a nursery for the babies. Just ask an usher and they would be happy to assist you.

Is there a dress code?
No, we do not have any dress requirements as such. We encourage modesty and cleanliness, of course. Our members who sing on the platform or stand before a class have some guidelines, but that is all. You will feel welcome here at Jefferson Road, without a doubt.

Will I be asked to do anything?

Everyone who attends Jefferson Road for the first time will be aked to fill out a Guest Card. Just fill out as much information as you feel comfortable with. Our Pastor would like to contact you just to thank you for visiting with us, and to tell you more about how we may be able to serve you.
